Started a new job over a month ago, hence my absence from teh intrawebs. It's a great job though, I feel like I can finally say "my career!" and grin while doing so, instead of "my POS job!" while inserting a lot of unpleasant adjectives after.

So, uhhh... yeah. Not a lot of time for the arts, either.

............................OH MY GOD. I want to gush about the last few episodes here, but I refuse to risk spoiling it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. I -haven't- seen the very last one of the season, as I'm enjoying the anticipation of waiting till it airs on Friday. So if anyone else is as full of pent-up frustration as I am, please feel free to comment and we will gush / speculate together. ^_^

-- This weekend I'll be "spring cleaning" my gallery and removing a lot of the older art, so if there's something that catches your eye or if I've done art for you that's more than three years old, you might want to save it. I'll be backing up all my files, so if you're looking for something and it's gone, please just let me know. (Scraps folder is going to be pruned as well.)

-- About the artist at the top of the page: I want to keep promoting other peoples' submissions, galleries, and contests, so I've decided to do a "random deviant of the month" sort of thing. Basically I'll post to a deviant who is not on my watch list yet, or a newly-watched deviant. I hope this will encourage myself (and others as well) to communicate with artists I haven't met yet. That's pretty much it.

I know I haven't updated in a while. It's been the most chaotic summer ever. But on to other things.

First and most importantly, happy birthday to !! Big hugs and many arts for you, Daro! Come down and visit me so I may lavish you with, um... stuff. And things.

Secondly, omg the Office. I am addicted to the Office. Does anyone else watch this show? I only recently discovered it, but have since caught up on both the American and British episodes. I'm also addicted to How I Met Your Mother. Barney is hilarious.

.....I haven't watched television in over a decade. wtf.

Thirdly, I've been drawing a lot... but I have no way to show you kind people what I've been doing, because my computer will no longer run Photoshop. The system freezes whenever I try to scan anything. This makes me very sad. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about it. I guess I will be pawning things so I can buy another computer, because I am a poor broke sod. If my wacom tablet ends up being one of those things, I'm going to be pissed.

Yeah, not liking my life too much at the moment.
